Swinging By to Say HI

I made this card for the c.c Designs challenge. It was fun to make as I got to create a fun scene. I love c.c. Images and have a ton of digis to use! I am very new to the copic world and from one image to the next I am learning....I think the big thing is to keep practicing! The girl Honey, the tree, bees and even the fence are all about C.C. Designs. Hers to another fun filled year of their products!

Easter bunny and Flower

These two 3x3 cards were fun to make! They both use stamps from stampin up. The one with the flower used scraps of paper. Cut 1 inch wide- it was a super great way to use scraps and have a great little notecard ready for a quick personal note. The Easter rabbit was fun to color and I used stampin up watercolored crayons. They are so easy to use and the color is so intense!

All Things Grow Better with Love post- it note pad

The sun is finally out and it feels like a normal winter day! Thank you weather regulator;).
This little cutie American from Whimsie doodles at whimsie doodles.com! Melissa is such a fantastic artist. She also has a super great sense of humour;<3. I got this idea from Pinterest with the post it note and I think it is a really great idea to make those handmade cards sparkle a little while longer! The bees and fence came from All that Scraps, whom has another bunch of wonderfully gifted illustrators!

Supplies used: purple and white Cardstock from colorbok, artist marker pad from Bee paper, sticklers for the trowel and bee wings, prima flowers, Copic markers and Tim Holtz distress Ink.

Your Dog-gone Lucky....it's your birthday! Money card

This Birdie Brown puppy always makes me smile so when I read her blog today....well I instantly thought of this cutie! Although you cannot really tell he is completed in three layers: one is the blue jean pocket; one is the copic coloring of the puppy and the third layer is the flowers and leaves. He was so fun to do I might have to use him again...lol

Products used are: prima flowers, mm brads, CTMH patterned paper, Jillibean stick pin, glass beads, glossy accents, copic quality coloring paper, yellow and blue Cardstock, All That Scraps bee, ek success paper punch- to make the money slot to the person getting the card.

Basic flower note card

I whipped up about 6 of these in no time....well hardly any time. I stamped and coloured the flower. After all the ink was dry I covered the flower with tombo mono and glitter that matched. Using scraps I matted some patterned paper and put a band of ribbon around the card....voila a quick set of retro cards ready for any occasion!

Watercolour fairies

These fairies were so fun! First I watercolored the wings using stampin up watercolored crayons. Once the wings were dry I used sticklers to bling them up a bit. I trimmed each image to approximately the same size. I used DCWV Once Upon a Time paper pack (it's an oldie but a goodie)! In truth I found odds and ends that matched each theme around the house (flowers, bling). The inside of the cards are plain with an embellishment from the front, such as a stamped swirl.

Giant Band Aid

Who likes to be under the weather? No one!

This card was made using recollections card stock. While I was trimming the card to fit a no. 10 envelope I also trimmed the "pad" for the front. After stamping the airplane with Versamark; I drew circles all over with a white signo gel pen. I rounded all corners with a corner chomper. Using tombo mono to glue the google eyes into place. I used pebbles dry chalk to make the cheeks rosey and a liquid fine liner for the stitching and mouth.

This card was fun to make and easy to make a few at a time, if needed.

Three friends

This card came together because I did it a bit at a time. It is a standard size card and as I was waiting for things to dry or heat up I just would do another bit on it. Most of the products are recollections from Michael's. So without further adieu.

Bird love

I loved making this card! In this frigid weather it was super cute to see that two love birds could cozy up with one another! This digi stamp camp from All That Scraps, another favourite store of mine. I have noticed that I especially like images that are clear line images with clean images- Digi Garden and All That Scraps are two sites I clearly recommend. That little ramble aside here is the sweetest little love birds around!

UR Outta this World

I loved making this Valentine because it uses one of my favourite past designers- Polycraft! I absolutely love her creations (even though I don't know her name??? Anyone?). Plus, making a "boy" theme was a challenge! ;0)
