Copper Evergreen

This little dandy just took a few minutes and the effects are worth while!  The cardstock is all Stampin up.  The gold cord I got at a thrift store and the stamp is a Stampin up stamp (from 2006). The tree was completed by stamping with versa mark and then taking the perfect pearls copper dust and their feather light brush and dusting over the top.  When the versa mark dries it is like a glue for the copper powder and it sticks in place.  I chose no sentiment on the inside or outside of the card because it could be used as a notecard close to or after the holidays.  Hope you have had a scrap happy day.
Cheers,
T

Cartwheel Posey, AHSC #16

This little cutie came from a Annabelle Stamps. I used My Minds Eye patterned paper with colorbok cardstock.  My image is coloured with copics and I paper pieced her shirt and pants.  The sentiment comes from stampin up and it is embossed and i used a large oval punch from them too.  I used doodlebug twine and the centre of the flower has some red stickles ( I think it is razzleberry). I really must pay closer attention to these wonderful products.  I have to be honest and say when I am crafting I am not thinking about who made what....

This card was designed for Atlantic Hearts Sketch Challenge.  I am proud to say I am part of their design team and am loving the opportunity!  Hop on over to see us at http://atlanticheartschallenge.blogspot.ca/.  We will be happy to see your creations!

Have a scrap happy kinda day
Much love,

Santa's Time

I loved making a Christmas card in July. It was so fun as there was no pressure to get 10 cards completed in a certain amount of time.  This is a monthly challenge at scrap, paper, scissors (yeah, Helen!).  This image is from Stampin up and it was coloured with Stampin up markers.  I created an easel card for this because I loved the sentiments that came with the image.  The top sentiment says Wondrous Wishes and the bottom says: the joy of brightening a child's heart creates the magic of Christmas.  Both sentiments were embossed with black glitter embossing powder.

I used Bo Bunny Christmas paper from their........line.  The green and tinsel thread are from my sewing basket (which definitely doesn't get used for sewing).  I used American Crafts red sparkly brads and  Christmas red Stickles.

I had not used my punches in awhile so I dusted a few of those off and punched the lower boarder....it makes all the difference...lol.  Have a scrap happy day:).

Cheers,
T

Snowmen in April...

These little cuties began as a seasonal swap; however, I thought they were so cute I made some for Christmas too! They were easy enough to make- I started with the top toe die from stampin up and used a couple of punches, chalk, google eyes and embossing folder (not sure which one). And.......a little glue........Voila! Creations made for next season have officially begun....lol.

Gift Card Holders

This project was not only fun but super easy! I loved that the cards were just a few minutes to make and the water coloring was a fun evening activity. I used some images from stampin up turtle and co. And their Little friends collection. I also used an image (boy with balloon) from Penny Black. This idea came from a utube video from Kristina Werner (she totally rocks)!

When they are opened some have twine to keep them closed while others have double sided tape to peel off once a card is placed inside. I used the tiny attacher from Tim Holtz to securely keep the sides attached. As Kristina noted they would fit quite easily inside a card to dress up the occasion. With Easter, Graduation, Mothers and Father's Day all approaching it is an easy solution to a gift idea!

Cheers to all!
