Yard sale!!!

Who knew that preparing for a yard sale was so much work. I have not vacated the crafting world but I have 1 more week left to be completely ready.  What ever is left it is all being donated!!  We have been lucky enough that my husbands niece and fiancĂ©e were able to help this week!  So far I have 3 full trailer loads going to yard sale land.....lol

That is where I have been for the last few weeks. I am so happy that it is almost over!  I look forward to returning with loads of cards, projects and LOs on the proverbial "TO DO" list.  ...lol. :)
Cheers to all :)

Happy Mother's Day

After having some technical difficulties I am trying to take photos in natural light!  It's really a simple concept however when I finish work I am so excited that its done I just want to post.  Please let me know about clarity and if they are better or not so much.....I can't change what I don't know about :).

On a wonderful note, today is Mother's Day!  We helped my brother out last night so his baby boy Jace could be born!  He was a whopping 9lbs 3oz.  He called me from the delivery room and I could hear him crying it was so wonderful to hear him ( he was born late last night so we didn't get to see him).

This card was inspired by a calming feeling the stamps gave me.  The card is layered with Recollections Demask paper.  I then chose Stampin up pink Cardstock.  I used white cardstock for the top layer; then used Tim Holtz ink with a dauber to blend and soften the ink.  The stamping up stamps come from the set Up In the Air.  I used glue arts glue pen and flock to color the flowers and leaves.  The sentiment came from teeny tiny wishes from Stampin up.  I used staz on ink because when I started the card I was not sure what I would do with the flowers.
